KYOTOenergy sells 8.5 million CERs to VITOL S.A

Singapore, 26 October 2010. 

Kyoto Energy Pte Ltd (“KYOTOenergy”), a global developer of Clean Development Mechanism projects has announced that it has sold 8.5 million Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) to the Swiss based energy trader VITOL S.A., a member of VITOL Group.

Under the terms of the transaction, futures contracts were signed for the delivery of certified emission reductions originated from a portfolio of hydropower and wind projects located in Vietnam and Laos.
