Sim Kean Hong, Senior CDM Project Manager

At KYOTOenergy, Sim has been involved in 20 CDM projects in South East Asia (predominantly in Malaysia and Indonesia). He is involved in the development of CDM methodologies and project baselines, monitoring and verification processes. Some of the projects that he is currently managing include co-composting of EFB and POME, fuel switch, hydroelectric power and biogas capture from anaerobic effluent treatment plants in the starch and palm oil industries.

Prior to joining KYOTOenergy, Sim was with employed by BioX Malaysia Sdn Bhd as CDM Project Manager where he was involved in CDM projects for the palm oil industry. Sim also has experience with the organic fertilizer and organic compound fertilizer technologies gained at Micro Green Scientific Sdn Bhd were he was Assistant Manager in their Research & Technical Services Department.

Sim holds a Master of Science (Environmental Biotechnology) from the University Putra Malaysia (UPM). Sim speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Malay.
