Carbon Seminar organised by Cargill Environment Finance (USA) and KYOTOenergy (Singapore)

The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) offers the possibility to the industry in countries under development to improve their processes (e.g. waste management, energy consumption) by earning carbon credits, tradable with industrialized countries who must achieve their binding greenhouse gas emission reduction targets. Projects are eligible provided that they assist the host country to achieve sustainable development and "additional" (would have not occurred in the absence of CDM).
