Dave Shaw - Head of Consultancy Services

Dave manages the CDM consultancy team and is responsible for overseeing the registration of CDM projects globally. Having lived and worked in both Viet Nam and Malaysia, Dave has extensive experience in managing CDM hydroelectric and composting projects. He has been involved in over 20 CDM projects, 8 of which are registered. Dave has also managed carbon footprinting projects, including a large project with one of the top five commercial organizations in Singapore.

Prior to joining KYOTOenergy, Dave worked in the UK as an energy efficiency and regulatory consultant, providing EU ETS installations with support for site registration and the monitoring of annual emissions. He was also in charge of developing risk management strategies for these installations in the purchase and sale of allowances.

Currently, Dave is also a feature writer of Energy Management and Energy Engineering magazines.

Dave holds an MSc Technology and Innovation Management and a BSc Chemistry with Management Studies from the University of Sussex.
